Georges Guillaume du Pré was the first President of the United States to be foreign-born, and a radical conservative. He was elected in 2016 and impeached two years later, described as "More right-wing than God Himself."

Du Pré ran on the platform of change, just as his predecessor Barack Obama. But with the high number of Americans extremely dissatisfied with Obama's performance, du Pré's idea of "change" was from a large, spendthrift Federal Government to an entirely Republican, centrist-be-damned mentality that put the agenda of the far right into practice and essentially starved the Democrats and other leftists out of existence. This didn't become apparent until his second year in office.
He was elected in a landslide, and staunch Democrats across the country shrieked, "Fraud!" A subsequent investigation was launched, but fraud could not be proven. Several nationwide polls proved that du Pré was in fact elected because America was sick and tired of stupid politics and they wanted somebody who had actual plans and power, not just an optimistic attitude like they viewed was Obama's only strength.
Du Pré had several campaign promises that he used to win the votes of the right wing, and several that he used to win the votes of the left:
Promises that won the Right:
Promises that won the Left:
While many of the promises overlapped, several, like messing with the bloated, charlatan gods of the now unnecessary Civil Rights movement lost him some votes. He didn't worry about offending people, though; he was confident he would be elected.
Du Pré made noticeable progress in his first couple of months as President. The first thing he did was yank the drawstring on illegal immigration, issuing on his first day a statement that declared his intent on closing the borders. He allocated one trillion dollars to the erection of a fence that stretched along the US-Mexico border, and ensured its completion within the year. The second thing he did was he threw away the entire tax code, replacing it with a simple flat tax of 25%. He used the power of line-item veto to eradicate wasteful spending, and passed a law that outlawed Government spending on pet projects, with strict consequences.
His radical restructuring of the Government led to a better America. In July of 2017, an LA Times article called him "America's favorite President", and his approval ratings hovered near 75% for the rest of 2017.
The overwhelming success during du Pré's first year led him to believe that his original plans for the country would work better. In February of 2018 he tried to get Kieth Olbermann indicted for hate speech. His approval rating among Liberals plummeted, and it led many Conservatives to question him (although the far-Right lauded him for the attempt). He was caught on tape talking about essentially eliminating the First Amendment. Records of exactly what was said are still classified.
The falling approval ratings, along with a rumored declarations of war on three Communist countries, were capped off with the discovery of an illicit affair du Pré had with his Vice President Melissa Stanton. When asked about it, she confessed but he lied, despite the mountains of evidence against him. He was charged with perjury, misappropriating Federal funds to cover up the affair, and even attempted murder when he paid Stanton to abort their baby and she refused. He was found guilty and thrown into prison, where he was diagnosed with megalomania. His lawyers tried to use this to reduce his sentence, but it didn't work. Du Pré committed suicide in his cell on January 21st, 2020 as he watched his former lover and the new President-elect being sworn in.
