The Ores Nation, formerly known as the Ores clan, is a clan consisting of four hundred natural-born members and a dozen honorary members, most of whom are of the Chf family.
Honorary Members
Honorary members are those members who have helped advance the Ores, protect the Ores, or have married into the Ores (very rare, even after declaring their sovereignty).
- Chf'aza was the first honorary member, her membership granted by Ores'ulan for family ties cultural knowledge and practice, as well as defense of the clan.
- Lesa'nia was the second honorary member, receiving her membership for defense and diplomacy shortly before she became the Ipf'akh
- Chf'drak and Ra'liasi were inducted on the same day, Drak's membership given for family ties, diplomacy and defense, and Liasi's given for friendship, diplomacy and defense.
- Chf'sakara was the fifth inductee for defense and family ties. She was the only inductee to insist on a third person being in the room during the application of the clan tattoo.
- Raf'shali married into the clan, and was given the sixth honorary membership.
- Chf'edan and Chf'julianne, the seventh and eighth, were given honorary memberships for family ties; they both had ties to the Ores clan before their marriage. Julianne was given membership for far more reasons, though. Ulan was friends with Edan, and promised him membership upon his coronation. Then he met Edan's distant cousin Julianne Flaherty on her first visit to Hra. Julianne was the first hra'vakh hybrid, and she was also the first Earthborn to be awarded Hra'vakh citizenship. Ulan decided to induct her because of Edan, because he himself liked her well enough, and as a gesture of friendship to Terra.
